Top 5 Travel and Local Apps on Android in Latin America: Q3 2021

In the third quarter of 2021, the top Travel and Local apps on the Android platform in Latin America exhibited a range of performance trends. Here are the highlights from the top five apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel saw a progressive increase in weekly downloads, starting from 108K at the beginning of July and peaking at 153K by the end of September. The app's weekly active users also showed a positive trend, rising from approximately 2.1M to 2.2M over the same period.

Find my Phone - Family Locator experienced a substantial climb in weekly revenue, starting at $3.2K at the end of June and reaching approximately $18.5K by the end of September. Weekly downloads surged from 22K to over 191K, while weekly active users increased significantly from 37K to about 201K during the quarter.

Airbnb's weekly downloads showed a steady rise, beginning at 113K and reaching 145K by the end of the quarter. The app's weekly active users grew from 1.1M to approximately 1.2M.

Google Earth had varied weekly downloads, starting at 111K and dipping to around 92K by the end of September. The weekly active users fluctuated slightly but remained close to 770K throughout the quarter.

Lastly, 123milhas: Voos e Hotéis witnessed a gradual increase in weekly downloads, from 67K to 83K. The weekly active users also showed a positive trend, growing from 231K to almost 300K.
